This book is a chronicle of my personal journey and research on architecture, design, human well-being, cognition, systems, and ecosystems.
This is a project that has been in the works for some time in pieces and fits and starts. I am sufficiently busy that I never seem to get around to writing this book, though I jot down ideas or create or write a piece here or there. In addition, I am in the habit of making models and drawings and videos and presentations and feel that thinking of a book in a traditional sense is perhaps a bit limiting. Therefore, the book will grow here, on this site, along with additional content in various media.
As with the Painting for Life, this is an old project for me that began during my time in Auburn University’s School of Architecture in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. And as with the Painting for Life, this is a life’s work and will continue so long as I continue.
